Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation

I've heard so many people raving about the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation. I feel so many products can be hyped up and in reality they may not be that great. You always have to take the chance and try it for yourself!

I was curious about the foundation especially, because I personally, do not like to wear a foundation that's heavy and feels like I have way to much product on. I purchased the foundation about a week ago and have been giving it a fair run to see if I really like it. I have to say I agree with the people raving about this product! I've been really enjoying this foundation. It's definitely light weight and light/ medium coverage. I bought mine in 110 ivory. The next shade up was a little to yellow for me. It's always hard matching drug store foundations! I had to go off of  my other favorite drug store foundation - Neutrogena Healthy Skin in natural ivory.

What I really enjoy about this product is that I don't feel like I'm wearing anything on my face, and it evens out any redness I have. All I need is a bit of concealer and I'm good to go! I haven't had an breakouts from it and it doesn't leave my face looking oily. Which sometimes would happen after wearing my Neutrogena Healthy Skin after a few hours. This foundation is perfect for the coming summer, because its so light weight. I'll definitely be reaching for this foundation from now on!

What are your thoughts on the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation???

Review: Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme

Burt's Bees

I was rummaging through my mothers collection of products and I came across a sample package of various products from Burt's Bees. What caught my attention was the Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme. I have never had the most strong nails and always had a problem with my cuticles and nails being dry. So I figured I would give the product a go. It's described as a 'soothing blend of natural ingredients for intensive care of dry cuticles, brittle nails and chapped, cracked fingertips.' The product says to massage the creme into and around your nails nightly. I've been applying it right after I remove any nail polish and throughout on days I am not wearing any polish. I like to let my nails breathe for a day or two.

I've been using the cuticle creme for a few months now and I have to say I am impressed! My nails feel a lot stronger and my cuticles aren't as long as they use to be. I used to cut my cuticles but I haven't done that as much since I've been using this product. You know how the tops of your nails can get dry from wearing nail polish to long? This totally helps with that! My nails look healthy and I love it! The only downside about this product, which isn't even that big a deal, is the smell. It's suppose to smell like lemons but to me it's more of a waxy lemon smell. It's smells more in the tin than it does once it's on your nails. I don't notice it at all once I have it on and the creme soaks into your nails.

I thought I would go through this a lot quicker because the tins so small, but I've been using it for a few months and I still have a lot left. I know you can buy most Burt's Bees products at drugstores. They're pretty easy to find. I would definitely buy this product once I have finished using it.

Mini Target Haul

I went to Target today and bought a few products and I thought I'd share them with you :)

I needed to get a new mascara. My original Maybelline The Falsies Flared ran out and I had bought the Maybelline The Falsies Black Drama and I hated it! I would have raccoon eyes after a few hours and because I wear two coats it would flack off and bother my eyes. I will never buy that mascara again! I really like Maybelline The Falsies Flared. It makes my tiny lashes look long and voluminous!

I have been on the hunt for a brown liquid eyeliner. I was determined to find one while I was at the store and the only one I found was Revlon's Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen. I have never used this liner before but I thought I would give it a try. I will let you know what I think!

While I was in the Revlon section I spotted Revlon's Nearly Naked foundation. Pretty much everyone has been talking about it! So I figured why not give a try! I bought mine in 110 Ivory.

I ran out of hairspray today so I decided to grab something new and give it a try. I bought Aussie Mega Hairspray in flexible hold. I personally do not like crunchy hair lol and most of the other brands only had extra hold so my options were pretty limited. I'm always on the hunt to find inexpensive items that are great. So for about $3 I thought I'd try it out.

I will keep you updated on what I think! Let me know your opinion on any of the above products or if you have any recommendations!

NuMe Vintage Iron - Purple Zebra

NuMe Vintage Ceramic Iron

As you can see from the picture above I just purchased a Nume Vintage Ceramic Iron in Purple Zebra, and let me tell you I am in love!! :) It was love at first sight and when I used it I fell head over heels Hahhaa :P

I've had the same flat iron for years and just a few weeks ago, its life ended :/ It was a very sad day, but luckily it happened after my hair was finished lol ... So, I went on the hunt for a new flat iron. I wanted to make sure that what I was going to buy was a good quality iron. It's something I use regularly and I didn't want to buy an iron that was going to crap out on me in a year.

It's interesting how you notice things more when it pertains to you. I noticed in my YouTube feed  a lot of beauty gurus were talking about NuMe, so of course I checked it out! After a couple of weeks of continuously seeing videos on NuMe and how great they are, needless to say, I gave in lol

The asking price for the NuMe Vintage Ceramic Iron is $165.00. If that's a lot for you with some investigating I am sure you can find coupon codes from great YouTube gurus ;) Honestly, I think it's worth the asking price. The iron looks and feels of great quality, it has a temp. control setting, its light weight and the smooth shape of the iron allows you to make endless hairstyles. It's great to curl your hair or just add volume! And of course there are so many cute colors and designs! And the box it comes in is so cute! I will definitely be keeping it for storage!

Let me know what you think of NuMe, and if they have any other great products!
